How to do Basic and Advanced Searches on the Web

Basic Search

  1. From your logged-in account, click on the Inspections button.
  2. Click on the Search tab at the top. 
  3. In the search input box, you can enter specific terms in order to narrow down your search. The input box looks in the: Description, Additional text, Dynamic fields, and Notes (only for latest inspection).
  4. Some popular search terms to look into are Broken, Missing,and Replace.Here you can see further details about that particular inspection point such as if it’s All in Order or Attention Required.
  5. To download results of this search click on Download Reports.

Advanced Search

Within the same Search tab, click on + Advanced Search near the top.

You can refine their search even more with optional fields such as:

  • A specific Property, Building and Floor Area
  • A specific Project
  • A Group & Type
  • Inspections last submitted by you
  • Last inspected timeframe
  • Inspections last submitted with a specific Cause Code
  • Inspections submitted with keywords from a specific month

Note: The # of inspection points results total will auto-update depending on your search.


Quick Tips

  • You can re-sort the rows of inspection points by clicking on the columns: Floor / AreaDescriptionType and Inspection.
  • Set specific inspection points due by pressing “Set Due” (found centred directly above the results). This feature will override the interval setting and set these inspection points due for inspection.
